This is a very cool animated short from 2009, linked to me by a friend, called Alma. It was directed by Pixar animator Rodrigo Blaas and will, interestingly enough, be made into a feature film by DreamWorks which, to me might not be a great step forward. After all, it's almost perfect as it is and will kind of seem a bit like Coraline if anything else.
